Integrated Biopharma, Inc. (Amex: INB) has secured an arrangement with Sam's Club whereby their AgroLabs, Inc. subsidiary will place its Acai Extreme Energy Formula in 250 Sam's Club nationwide on or about January 6, 2006. This wholly owned subsidiary already sells products through Costco so this expansion with Sam's Club marks another important increase to the revenue stream. These relationships have resulted in a revenue increase to $14.8 million from $6.1 million for their latest quarter. Earnings after paying preferred dividends totaled $1.2 million, or 9 cents per share, compared with a loss of $2.5 million, or 20 cents per share, in the year ago period. Through several other wholly owned subsidiaries INB develops manufactures and distributes worldwide over 130 products. The Company has recently upgraded and expanded its manufacturing facilities to further increase production capacity. Their last quarter was profitable and we think that their continued expansion with large name retailers will have a positive effect on the bottom line in the quarter to come.
